2011.12.06 - Timbuktu

Concert, birthday ... and not much else!

These last few weeks have been a little slow for us. I guess we are preparing ourselves for the upcoming busy X-mas schedule. Lots of here and theres.

A few weeks ago we went to a concert with our Malmö comcity-ot Timbuktu at Rockefellar. This was the first time we heard him live and we were not disappointed. Funky !

Timbuktu on the stage in Rockefellar.

We have spent a few days with my colleague Ms. Lee. She is here from Korea and therefore in pretty much the same situation as we are - new in a new town. It's nice to have company for our city walks or trips to the cinema.

Ms. Lee in our apartment with Paula after an Indian (mega) dinner.

Ms Lee giving us the grand tour of the graveyard. We had already been there once ourselves, but had missed all the famous people ! Here at Munch's grave. His statue looks just as sad as his paintings do.

Ibsen with family lie here

And this rather strange piece of rock marks the grave of Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson - a famous Norweigan poet

Last Friday it was Paula's birthday. No big plans - just flowers, cakes and sushi. Who needs more ???

Tulips - the favorite flowers for my favorite wife !!??

... and cakes ditto. Chilli Chocolate and Lemon pie. Yummy ! It looks a little sparse, but we were only the two of us ......
